How to find your XP Product Serial

Picture the moment. You have the disk for XP, but not your serial, it's lost. The OS is still on your hard drive because you have no way of knowing what your product key is to install XP. Well, now you do.

Firstly, get Magical Jelly Bean Software's Keyfinder, which can get your key out of your current installation. It can be found here (http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml). Now run it and it will find it.

I should tell you that if you are running a preinstalled version of Windows (ie, it came with the PC), this will not work as the code which the original installer used does not work again.
